Purpose:

Identify current and future workforce occupational priorities and training needs by defining gaps in development. Communicate the needs to the Standards and Curriculum subcommittee.

Committee Strategic Objectives:

Maintain a gap-analysis of supply and demand of industry needs vs. workforce availability.

· Needs Assessment Process

· Process Review of the needs assessment to determine if any changes should be made or are needed

Assure the capacity exists to meet employer industry needs.

· Review the gap analysis (supply/demand) results

· Work with E & T in evaluating priority occupations data.

Become the professional resource for the industry, government agencies, labor, and education.

· Complete the needs assessment.
