The Alaska
Process Industry Careers Consortium (APICC), together with other
organizations working in the areas of mining, construction and
oil and gas, will offer externships for educators working with
students in grades 7 through 12 to connect business and education.
The educator
extern will work with a business mentor for up to 2 weeks (80
hours), to complete a project for the business while gaining a
valuable professional growth experience, earning 3 graduate college
credits, and a stipend of $200 a day for 10 days!
